We missed

i feel like we missed some good things in class but i wasnt there that much anyway. but still we should have gotten into the 2000's i think that would have be good and we would have maybe listen . but i liked the class very fun

rap

Would you rather have the skills to rap but be broke or be rich and not be so good at rapping? That’s how it is in our world today, we have this artist that think they are actually good and they suck but they make money off it. So should we be mad at them or should we join them? Without money what can you really do? You need money to live and money can buy most happiness. So would you do the same thing as them is the real question  

new MJ

The new Michael Jackson album that just dropped was actually pretty good and it is a good thing to pay respect to one of the best or not the best pop artist ever. My favorite song on the album is the one you showed us in class it sound like an old school Michael Jackson hit that you can really dance to. Timberland did a great job producing this and I’m pretty sure he will make tons of money off of it. So big S/o to him and everyone that helped it’s good to have one more album by the greatest

Godzilla

Godzilla was acutally not as bad as people think i found it to be pretty good . it had its flaws as all movies do like they could have showed him more. the part that was really good was the music they point to draw attention to the main parts thats why music is good in all movies. you should check this out im pretty sure its better than someof the movies we watch in class just saying.

Album's

So in this class I'm guessing we are going to get to the  late 80s early 90s all that good music that we have been waiting for like tupac or biggy ,NWA, ll cool j and  all the other big names where hip hop took that next big step. so I'm ready to listen to so more albums this time like we use to do in class we haven't done that in a while its not like i miss it but i like it when we listen to good music like hip hop rap or some of that old stuff you be playing for us.

iggy azalea

Iggy azalea a fairly new artist from Sysdney, Australia has became a big star icon in the hip hop world with her good looks plus her skills to rap. I like some of the song she has produce but not all of them she is good but not great in my opinion. She is also in  modeling cause  she is unbelievable beautiful so that is probably another reason she gets alot of attention. Anyway my fav song by her is fancy if i had to chance to go watch her live I would cause i believe she will out on a hell of a show

Rules

The rules we have today in our school are somewhat reasonable but some are not and I think we can agree on that for the most part. We talked about the new phone rule last class on how we should or shouldn't be aloud to be on it during class time. in my opinion I the rule should be if there is free time we should be aloud to be on our phone, it's up to us if we want to learn the material the teacher teaches us or not. But i can see where the respect card  comes in play in this situation. when the teacher is talking or maybe teaching something maybe we should be off our phones more or maybe the teacher should interact with the students more.

ACL

the line up this year seems alot better than last year well from what ive been hearing. There been some groups that i didnt like at all . but the people i would see would be outkast eniem iggy and some other groups that i forgot the name of but were good!! just overall think this is a better line up

Migos no label 2

this is a mix tape or a album that dropped kinda recently. the only reason i like it is cause of the beats they are really bad at  the rapping part you wouldnt like them at all cause you don't listen to the music we have these days but i mean if you want to check it out. just look it up on.youtube or the internet

the movie we watch in school was good i really liked it taught me about alot of the older mc out there and the ones in my time but grand master flash i heard alot about im guessing he was really good just a little to old for my time anyway i dont have a fav mc but i like many another note rap and hip hop is the best

Back up singers

back up singers.. alot of people think that they arent good enough to be like the star of the stage but i dont think that is true. If they can sing they can sing and why would the person that is singing need back up singers? ima tell you why , they need them cause they need there perfromance to be at a all time level and the back up singers will giver them that edge . they are entertainers and that is their job so before people go judging try to go in front of people and put on a show for thousands of people

Michael Jackson

micheal jackson probably one of the best pop star ever. the album we just listen to was great but i really thought all those songs were like on a different albums cause all those songs were my favorites by micheal jackson . even though mj did some bad things in life i really think he was a good person and i was a big fan of his work he will always be on my top of my list of great music artist and would recomend him to anyone so that is my thoughts on mj aka micheal jackson

schoolboy Q

So I’ve been looking for music and I did, I found schoolboy Q new mix tape oxymoron and I really like it. The best song on the mix tape is Man of the year and following that is hell of a night. I guess the reason why I like these songs is because I want to live that type of life when you have everything you want in life, the finer things. Cause what does a guy really need money girls and you already have a family that cares for you so you can give back to them since they helped you out. But yeah schoolboy Q oxymoron check it out something a little different for you

rap

In class we watched a video about a few rappers and how they life went and how their music effected their life. It was pretty crazy I never thought half of that was true it really opened my eyes on how little I know about the hip hop music industry. The thing that made me really think was when project pat a member of said how the things in his music got him in trouble and I believe that he was saying the stuff he said wasn’t true or something like that, like why lie about don’t drugs and killing people when you know it’s going to be viewed by the public. Also the jail part half of the people haven’t been in jail but talk about in their songs but hey I guess if you making money off it don’t fix anything that isn’t broke.

The others

well listing to everyone else songs was pretty good heard alot of good songs i havent heard b4 and thought some of the other songs where interesting. there was alot of varitey out there too and its good to see what other people like and the funny part is some of the songs the people played fit them so that was also cool

My pick

the reason i picked if this isnt love and smoke a nigga is b/c it kinda shows who i am in away . like this isnt love shows that i may be a big guy and everything and give off that impression that im just a mean guy but im not i havea nice side most of the time. and smoke a nigga kinda shows my party side in a way like the song makes me what to do some crazy stuff not kill anyone tho ha just saying but yeah i feel like these two songs explain in away who i am

Prom is coming up but you boy don't even got  date yet well i could but she on that other stuff cant understand girls these days but hey its all good there are other fish out there i guess... that's not the point back in your day what where the songs y'all listen to is it like the movies where they just play a slow song and you find that one girl and dance with her the whole time or would y'all just play like some kid ND play type stuff if you know what that is . just wanna know how yall got down back in the day

Well in class we talked about the Superbowl halftime show and how the red chili peppers faked  played at it. well at I think its okay well that's cause I'm not a fan so if i was at a lets say i was at a drake concert and he was lip sing i would be pretty upset cause i got cheated out in a concert i wanted to see so i see your part but i know playing in the Superbowl gives you the big bucks so its kind of hard to turn down that offer. its a 50/50 thing to me so its kinda stuff to pick a side

Nfl

AS we all know now football is coming to a end and now its the biggest game if them all and i believe that burno mars is pro-forming at half time we had some get half time shows the past year but i still cant get over the jennet jackson and JT One when her top came off good stuff haha.. But i believe that the broncos are going to win 28 24 and if I'm right i should like get a free 100 or a free day of netflix that would be nice but overall this week was good i think we should get into some more early Hiphop tho in class just saying

Hall of fame

We where talking about the hall of fame in class this week and talking about if it was fair i believe . Well my opinion on the subject is yes it is fair if you work that hard at the thing your in the hall of fame for then you should be in it but i know what you were saying about some younger people getting in before the older bands and bands you think should be in there but maybe they should of just work harder.

beyonce

Beyonce came out with a new album and yes I do listen to her from time to time. I really enjoy it it gives me good vibes when I just chill and listen to it. My favorite song is drunk in love right now its her best single or whatever they say but you  should really give it a look at. other then that i don't really know anything that's going on with the music industries

class movie

In class we watched a movie about big star the way the band was created it was pretty cool to see and the way they did the studio work recording was really impressive also I didn’t think Memphis was really big on rock nd roll I thought they were more soul music. Also the way they describe the bars there sounds like a place to have a really go time. Overall one of the better documentaries I’ve seen in class .

Class this week we were still in the 1970’s we listen to black Sabbath what I didn’t before we listen to it is I use to listen to them when I was young with my uncle and I actually like them better than led zeppelin I feel like they sound better and it’s not so loud and crazy favorite song by Black Sabbath is paranoid don’t be surprised. And I forgot that woman name but her voice was amazing made me think about my girl haha but she is really good very relaxing chill music right there

back at it again

 So the update in the pop music is that Justin bebier has decides to retire after about 6 years I think. I feel like that it’s a good idea I mean he got money in bank so I don’t think he would need a job and I don’t really like his music. I guess he can just go on vacation or something or go to college live it up there. But let’s just be glad that the fake smoking pot Justin bebier is not making music for awhile

Well this week we listen to the last album of the Beatles. On a scale of 1-10 I think it was like a 6 not there best but it wasn’t too bad I’m pretty sure it still made them a lot of money. The things I really didn’t like about it, was it wasn’t really that catchy like the music was a little too slow for my taste. I mean there aren’t that many things I like about their music so I don’t have a good list about this one it’s just the fact that they still made bank with this album which wasn’t all that in my opinion
